Rob Shields to Serve as President of Eastern NC Chapter of the CLM
Robert S. Shields, Jr., a partner in Manning Fulton’s litigation practice, will serve as the President of the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Claim & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
Rob brings over 30 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters. His experience spans from professional liability defense and catastrophic damages to commercial real estate litigation and business-related disputes. Over the years, Rob has worked with many of CLM’s members and Fellows as he represented corporations, professional service providers, and healthcare providers and institutions in North Carolina Courts and before industry regulatory Boards. Clients benefit from Rob’s love of the courtroom and his passion for trying a case. He has earned the reputation of being aggressive both in the court room and in his preparation of a case before it goes to trial. He looks forward to sharing that experience and passion through CLM to help foster education and communication in the claims and litigation management industries. He also recognizes the critical role CLM plays in fostering collaboration to help improve efficiencies and processes related to the business of claims and litigation management.
