RALEIGH, N.C., April 7, 2015 – Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (ROC), Wake County’s largest and oldest orthopedic practice, announced the opening of its second urgent care center. To support Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic’s mission of providing the highest quality orthopedic care available, the North Raleigh urgent care center will offer fast, convenient and specialized care for urgent orthopedic conditions and recent injuries.

The new Raleigh Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center is located at 10880 Durant Road, Suite 300 in Raleigh. The center is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary for treatment. Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic offers another urgent care center at 3001 Edward Mills Road in Raleigh.

From recent injuries including broken bones, sprains, strains and other sports-related injuries, to urgent orthopedic situations like cast or wound dressing problems, the Raleigh Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center is able to assist patients of all ages in a timely and comfortable manner.

The urgent care is staffed with the Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic board-certified physician assistants (PA) and nurse practitioners (NP), who have extensive training in orthopedic care. The PA’s and NP’s are backed by Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic on-call orthopedic surgeons with access to review the digital x-rays, and are always available to assist in the in the treatment of urgent emergencies that require hospital care.
