RALEIGH, N.C. April 7, 2015 — Park West Barber School, a leading provider in barber education, has announced that its Rewarding Kids For Excellence initiative will celebrate and acknowledge students in grades K-12 who have achieved the honor roll by offering them a free haircut. On Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, any student who has made all A’s or B’s is invited to bring his or her most recent report card to either of Park West Barber School’s Triangle-based locations, located in Raleigh at 5209 Capital Blvd. and in Durham at 4853 NC Hwy 55 for a free haircut performed by supervised students.

Park West Barber School aims to engage its students in community- and industry-building activities that foster both personal and professional development. Rewarding Kids for Excellence is part of a partnership with the Southeast Raleigh Assembly, Sisters of the Greater Triangle, John Avery Boys & Girls Club and Communities In Schools of Wake County.
