NCVMA Presents $5,000 High Five Grant To Support New Stokes County Animal Shelter
Germanton, N.C., March 2, 2015 – The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) has announced it has awarded one of its five High Five grants to the Stokes County Animal Shelter New Building Fund. Supporters of the fundraising effort seek to raise $400,000 in order to construct a new animal shelter.
The High Five Grant Program was established to assist qualified organizations that promote community service as well as compassion and health for the people and animals of North Carolina. NCVMA will award $5,000 to New Stokes County Animal Shelter in 2015, and the organization will have the opportunity to reapply for the grant in 2016.
