NCVMA Awards High Five Grant To Friends Of Madison County Animals
Marshall, N.C., Feb. 23, 2015 – The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) has announced that it has awarded one of its five High Five grants to the Friends of Madison County Animals (FOMCA). FOMCA offers a number of area wide programs in Madison County, including vaccine clinics, spay-neuter clinics, Pet Pantry and Chain Free Madison. They have been working to improve the lives of animals in Madison County since 1995.
The High Five Grant Program was established to assist qualified organizations that promote community service as well as compassion and health for the people and animals of North Carolina. NCVMA will award $5,000 to FOMCA in 2015, and the organization will have the opportunity to reapply for the grant in 2016.
