Moore & Van Allen’s Intellectual Property, Corporate and Financial Services Capabilities Expand
Moore & Van Allen PLLC is pleased to announce expanded capabilities within its Intellectual Property, Corporate and Financial Services teams. The Firm has welcomed Minnie Kim to its Charlotte office Intellectual Property team as an associate. Additionally, Charlotte Corporate Associate Benjamin D. Hicks and Charlotte Financial Services Associate Andrew R. Price have both been admitted to the North Carolina State Bar.
Minnie Kim’s intellectual property practice involves a wide-range of industries, with a focus on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation. As a licensed patent attorney, she also has experience securing intellectual property protection across a range of sectors, including mechanical, chemical, life sciences, and electrical arts, as well as other transactional work. Kim earned her J.D. from Northwestern University and her B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and New York as well as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Ben Hicks’ practice involves a broad range of general corporate matters, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments. He also advises clients on corporate governance issues. Hicks earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his B.A. from Western Carolina University. He is admitted to practice in both North Carolina and New York.
Andrew Price represents financial institutions, banks, and private equity sponsors in the structuring and documentation of syndicated credit facilities and acquisition finance. Price earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to practice in both North Carolina and Tennessee.
