Moore & Van Allen is pleased to announce that Charlotte Estate and Wealth Planning Member Mark Horn was recently elected President of the Charlotte Estate Planning Council.

Having served on the Board since 2011, Horn was elected Vice President in 2014 and will begin his first term leading the Council for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

Horn is a North Carolina Bar certified specialist with nearly 20 years of legal experience in estate planning and probate law.

The Charlotte Estate Planning Council (CEPC) is a large regional estate planning organization with approximately 200 members consisting of attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, certified financial planners and trust officers. The CEPC is a local affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC), a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated estate planning councils, focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards.
