RALEIGH, N.C., April 7, 2016 – MMI, a full-service public relations firm based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle region, has announced the promotions of three staff members – Jeffrey Turner, Blair Kelly and Kelly Crupi – to accommodate the growth of the firm’s client portfolio.

Jeffrey Turner has been promoted from assistant account executive to account executive. In this capacity, he will lead project management initiatives for MMI clients. Moreover, he is responsible for the execution of clients’ strategic communications campaigns. With a background in journalism, Turner’s areas of expertise include media relations, crisis communications, brand reputation management and strategic communications. He joined MMI as an assistant account executive in October 2014. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in both English and journalism from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Blair Kelly has been promoted from traffic coordinator to assistant account executive. In this position, she will serve MMI clients using her expertise in media relations, communications planning, and brand analytics. Kelly joined MMI in April 2013 as a traffic coordinator. She earned a Bachelor of Science in both exercise and sports science and communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Kelly Crupi has been promoted from assistant account executive/content creation specialist to senior content creation specialist. In this new role, she will manage the agency’s content creation projects across all marketing channels including advertising, social media, media relations, and web. She will also lead the growth of MMI’s content creation group through its advisory services to clients on external and internal content strategies. Crupi first served as an intern at MMI in summer 2013 and was hired as a project coordinator in October of that year. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication, with a concentration in public relations.
