Junior Achievement Of Central Carolinas Hosts 2015 Business Hall of Fame Event

Charlotte, NC, Nov. 18, 2015 - Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas hosted a successful event to honor the newest North Carolina Business Hall of Fame inductees on Tuesday, Nov. 17. This year’s honorees personify not only an entrepreneurial spirit and unparalleled level of professionalism, but have also shaped a legacy that is recognized beyond North Carolina’s borders. The event was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Charlotte, where the guests were treated to a reception followed by dinner and the induction ceremony. This year’s sold out event was sponsored by TIAA-CREF.

This year’s inductees were, Robert Barnhill Jr., chairman of the board and CEO of Barnhill Contracting Company; Susan Cameron, president and CEO of Reynolds American Inc.; and Dan DiMicco, chairman emeritus of Nucor Corporation.

Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas partners with The North Carolina Chamber to annually present and celebrate the accomplishments of the Tar Heel state’s most outstanding business and government leaders. Since 1988, Laureates have been selected by a panel of business and community leaders for their significant contributions in building and defining the North Carolina business landscape.
