CARY, N.C., Jan. 20, 2016 – Esteem Me Montessori & Creative Play, a year-round, full- and part-time quality childcare center, has announced that it is expanding its current facilities in Cary’s Waverly Place shopping center. The new classrooms, which will provide increased enrichment opportunities to the center’s growing number of students, are expected to open at the end of February 2016. The expansion will add approximately 3,000 square feet to the current 4,200-square-foot space.

Currently Esteem Me classrooms include an Infant Community (ages 6 weeks to 18 months), Toddler Community (ages 18 months to 3 years) and Children’s House Community (ages 3 to 6 years), along with a Creative Play space. With the additional space, two new classrooms and a multipurpose room will be added. The multipurpose room will allow Esteem Me teachers to provide children with new, exciting opportunities in STEM education, physical education, yoga and special school events.

Esteem Me offers a curriculum that includes art, language, music, social and emotional development, sensory exploration, anatomy and physiology, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Spanish and baby sign language, just to name a few. Teachers strive to build self-esteem and develop a lifelong love of learning in children through creativity and hands-on learning. These efforts have earned Esteem Me recognition in the IndyWeek 2015 Best of the Triangle Awards as a runner up in the “Best Early Childhood Learning Facility in Wake County” category, as well as “Best Preschool” in Cary News’ 2014 Best of Cary Awards.
