Kim Jones has been promoted at the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) to the director of sponsorship development and public relations. Jones will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with businesses, schools and organizations throughout the community as well as increasing blood drive sponsorship and collecting more blood for the patients being treated in the 21 area hospitals served by CBCC.

Prior to her promotion, Jones worked at the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas as a sponsorship developer in the Cabarrus, Rowan and Iredell county area for six years. She also spent four years at Awards Express as a promotional sales representative and 13 years at AAA as a top-performing sales executive, winning the President’s Award for “Sales Representative of the Year” each year of her employment. Jones attended Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and earned a degree in business.
