Community Blood Center of the Carolinas Hires Michael Land to Serve Wilkes and Caldwell Counties
Michael Land has joined the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) as a recruiter serving the Wilkes and Caldwell County areas. Blood collected by CBCC in these counties supplies Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Land is responsible for managing relationships with businesses, high schools, colleges and community organizations to help increase blood donations through community blood drives. Previously, he worked in pharmaceutical sales for 11 years and as an athletic trainer. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education/English and also completed a four-year athletic training program at the Clemson University Athletic Department.
