Patrick McElgunn, M.D., a board certified dermatologist with Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in Charlotte, has been asked to participate in a panel discussion on non-invasive facial rejuvenation at the 2012 8th World Congress of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology in Cancun, Mexico.

Dr. McElgunn specializes in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. He has taught laser surgery techniques to fellow doctors and has been an examiner of prospective laser surgeons for the American Board of Laser Surgery. With equally extensive experience in cosmetic fillers, Dr. McElgunn is recognized as a premier injector of Botox®, Dysport®, Restylane®, Juvederm® and other fillers and instructs other dermatologists and plastic surgeons in filler injection techniques. He also lectures groups of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners on dermatologic therapy. Most recently, Dr. McElgunn was named to the Best Doctors in America list.

The World Congress of Cosmetic Dermatology is an annual conference for members of the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology, a trade organization for dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons, and members of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry.
