CBCC Thanks Donors With Chance To Win A Big Game Party
The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) continues to have a lower blood supply due to the effects of Winter Storm Jonas. To help with blood collections and thank its donors, CBCC is offering a Super Bowl Party Giveaway Package for one local donor.
“We want to thank our donors during this time of need and to celebrate our Carolina Panthers through our Super Bowl Party Giveaway,” said Martin Grable, president and CEO of CBCC. “We are excited and proud of the Carolina Panthers and Roman Harper, #41 an advocate of local blood donation. The Panthers are champions on the field and in the community, helping save local lives through blood donation.”
All presenting blood and platelet donors at CBCC’s mobile drives and donor centers between now and Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 will be automatically entered to win the package. The party package includes supplies and food for up to 10 people. The winner will be selected on Friday, Feb. 5.
In addition as part of Super Bowl Week, CBCC is having a friendly competition with its sister blood center – Bonfils Blood Center in Denver, Colo. – to give its blood donors another opportunity to show their Panthers pride. CBCC is asking blood donors to post photos of themselves, their friends and family donating blood or wearing Panthers colors to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the tag: @CBCCarolinas and #BleedBlue.
Adds Grable, “In the spirit of our own Carolina Panthers to #KeepPounding, we need to #KeepPounding for local patients who rely on community blood donors for life-saving blood. Please donate blood or host a blood drive to support our local hospitals and patients.”
