BEFCOR Officer Named First African-American President of Raleigh Rotary Club
Louis Rogers, III, Business Development Officer for Business Expansion Funding Corporation, also known as BEFCOR (http://www.befcor.com), has been named the new president of the Rotary Club of Raleigh.
Rogers has been active in Rotary since 2003 and first joined the Raleigh Club upon his relocation to the area in 2007. He has served as secretary, vice president and on July 11, 2011 was installed as the Club’s new president during a ceremony at the Raleigh Convention Center. He also has the distinction of becoming the club’s first African-American president.
“I want to continue the Rotary’s rich history of community service and also plan to focus on expanding the club’s membership, especially in regard to younger members,” said Rogers. “I invite any and all business professionals who would like to find out more about the Rotary Club of Raleigh to please call us.”
