The Secret Chocolatier Extends Its Evening of Chocolate Events Into April

The Secret Chocolatier is kicking off the month of April by extending its “An Evening of Chocolate” events with two new dates – Saturday, April 12 and Saturday, April 26. Its new Ballantyne location at 11318 N. Community House Road, Suite 203, will once again be transformed into a magical stage of dessert creations.

Each table will be presented three delectable, chocolate-inspired dessert courses prepared and plated onsite by The Secret Chocolatier’s Chef Bill Dietz – the store’s chief chocolatier and a 30-plus-year pastry chef. Seating is limited for the event, which starts at 8:00PM. Tickets are $50 for a table of two and are by reservation only by calling 704-323-8178, ext. 0.

“Our debut events in March sold out and were a resounding success, so we have decided to continue this event through the spring,” said Robin Ciordia, co-owner of The Secret Chocolatier. “We have had so much fun sharing the tantalizing creations of Chef Bill [Dietz] who displayed the true ‘secret’ behind The Secret Chocolatier and showed that we can do much more than chocolate. We also welcome input on other creative themes that we can incorporate into future dessert events.”

The Secret Chocolatier began operations in 2008, selling hand-made confections at regional farmers markets, sourced from natural ingredients. The family-owned company opened its retail shop in 2011, at the corner of Sharon Amity and Providence Road in Charlotte, and expanded to Ballanytne in Fall 2013.
