Downtown Raleigh’s Premier Party to Feature Four Floors of Food &Fun

Raleigh, N.C., Nov. 25, 2014 – Rocky Top Hospitality and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences are hosting a black-tie-optional New Year’s Eve Gala at the museum’s Nature Research Center, located at 121 W. Jones Street, from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. The Gala will feature passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations and bars on all four floors, along with premium liquors and wines, craft beers, champagne and specialty cocktails.

Last year’s event attracted more than 850 revelers. Tickets are $99 per person (plus tax and service charges) if purchased through Dec. 25, and $125 per person after. Tickets are available through nyegalaraleigh.eventbrite.com or by calling 919-707-8057.

Each floor will have unique offerings that include:

First Floor

Passed hors d’oeuvres, gourmet display, late night snacks, full bar, entertainment by SPIN Video DJ & MC

Second Floor

Taqueria station, Spanish tapas bar, Twisted Fork dessert display, full bar

Third Floor

Passed hors d’oeuvres, steak house station, fondue station, full bar

Fourth Floor

Seafood display, petite pie display, full bar, local entertainment from Doug Kobs Trio featuring Peggy Hayes (8-10 p.m.) and Crush (10 p.m. – 2 a.m.)
