Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), an independent benefits consulting firm, will host a free educational seminar in conjunction with Stanley Benefits on Tuesday, May 3rd, at Starmount Forest Country Club, located at 1 Sam Snead Dr. This program, a part of HCW’s Employee Benefits Ready series, will focus on maintaining compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

This program is designed for HR Directors/Managers, CFOs, Controllers and CPAs. Some familiarity with the employee benefits field is advised.

The first portion of the presentation will outline 2016-2017 compliance requirements and strategies for managing these requirements. From there, HCW consultant, Jay Lowe, will examine the IRS enforcement of the Employer Mandate and recap the penalty assessment that employers may face.

In the second portion of the presentation, VP of Stanley Benefits, Aaron Hunt, will review common compliance errors and discuss solutions and related considerations from a benefits management perspective.

This free seminar is accredited by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) for 1.00 hour of CPE credit. It is also accredited by the HR Certification Institute for 2.00 pending credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification and 2.00 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.
