WRAL’s Debra Morgan will moderate 3rd annual event as part of SAS Championship Week at Prestonwood

CARY, N.C. (Oct. 10, 2016) – Molly Barker, the founder of Girls on the Run, will provide the keynote address for the 2016 Executive Women’s Day presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. The annual event takes place on Tuesday, October 11, as a part of the SAS Championship presented by Bloomberg Media, a PGA TOUR Champions event at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary.

In 1996, Barker founded Girls on the Run with the 13 original participants in Charlotte, N.C. With the help of over 100,000 volunteers, Girls on the Run served over 185,000 girls in 2015, including its millionth participant.

Additionally, representatives from EY, UNC – Chapel Hill, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina highlight the local Power Panel. Debra Morgan, an anchor with WRAL-TV, will once again moderate the panel of local panelists:
