Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), an independent benefits consulting firm, has announced the hiring of Becca Woodward as HR Technology Enrollment Coordinator. In this role, Woodward supports the HR Technology & Voluntary Benefits team with eligibility maintenance, bill reconciliation, and electronic data interchanges.

Woodward’s attention to detail makes for a great resource for HCW. Her support of the HR Technology & Voluntary Benefits team is vital as they continue to grow and increase their client base.

Woodward graduated from North Carolina State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology. She comes to HCW after working for the past year at Duke University, where she served as a staff assistant in a biomedical engineering lab.

“While working in a biomedical engineering lab focused on innovating research in women’s health, I realized I had a passion for healthcare, in particular benefits and education,” said Woodward. “In this position, I saw many women who weren’t informed about healthcare coverage and preventative screening and, in turn, developed life threatening cancers or pre-cancers. I wanted to move into a position relating to healthcare where I would be part of a team focused on educating people about the benefits options available to them. The HR Technology Enrollment Coordinator position at HCW is perfectly aligned with my interests, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”

“As the need for HR Technology continues to skyrocket, it’s more important than ever for us to supply our team with the tools they need, including new team members,” said Todd Yates, HCW partner and CEO. “We’re excited to have Becca join the HCW family, and look forward to see her grow into this role.”
