Rocky Top Hospitality Launches Southland BBQ Catering

Offering a full variety of North Carolina and other regional cuisines

Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, is introducing a unique new concept to the Triangle – Southland BBQ Catering – which will focus exclusively on catering and immediate delivery. Southland BBQ Catering will offer a variety of North Carolina BBQ favorites and other regional cuisine – including in-house smoked pulled pork (both eastern and western North Carolina style), Texas-style beef brisket and sausage, St. Louis-style spare ribs, beer-can chicken, banana pudding, peach cobbler and more.

In addition to full catering services that can handle everything from tailgate and office parties, to wedding receptions and family reunions, Southland BBQ will offer delivery to homes and businesses in Raleigh, Wake Forest and surrounding areas. Customers can customize their orders by choosing meats, entrees, scratch-made sides, fixin’s and desserts that satisfy a wide variety of tastes. Delivery will be available seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in a limited area and should take less than one hour from when the order is placed, unless the client specifies a later delivery time.

Clients may place delivery orders straight from Southland’s website at www.southlandbbqcatering.com, its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/southlandbbqcatering/), or a soon-to-be-released app. For orders of 20 or more, clients may call 919-757-4972 to place their catering order directly with a sales representative.

Our chefs have combined their regional specialties into one menu chock-full of authentic, delicious cuisine available for immediate delivery or as catering packages for your next event.”

In addition to Southland BBQ Catering, Rocky Top Hospitality operates Rocky Top Catering and 1705 Prime (a wedding and special event venue in Raleigh), as well as three restaurants: The Twisted Fork, Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar, and The Daily Planet Café. Rocky Top Catering is the exclusive caterer of The Blue Zone in Kenan Stadium on the Campus of UNC Chapel Hill, and the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh.
